2 day Adventure Course Info

Corser Concepts Motorcycle School head coach Dale Corser has teamed up with Australian Supermoto rider Graham Cheney in an exciting two day adventure riding course. The course will see a mix of both coaching styles and curriculums coming together guaranteeing a fun filled weekend.

Numbers are limited. The course is for both new and experienced adventure riders. It is aimed at improving your riding skills and techniques making you a safer more confident rider.
Day 1 of the course will see you utilise one of the fleet of small capacity four stroke motorcycles on a combination of purpose built grass tracks and dirt trails. The concept of using these small, easy to ride bikes is to build confidence while teaching the correct riding skills and techniques before adapting them to your own Adventure Motorcycle. This proven technique has been used by both Troy and Dale Corser throughout their riding careers. Make sure you get plenty of rest the night before as the course will have you covering a lot of laps.

Day 2 sees you wake up to a hearty breakfast before suiting up and adapting all the skills learnt from the smaller bikes and applying to your own large ADV machines under the guidance of your coaches. We will use a combination of tracks and trails found at the training facility or by heading out on a pre-planned adventure loop depending on skill level of the group this is were you will be able to put your new skills to the test.

Key components of the course include:
o Smooth throttle, brake and clutch control drills
o Increasing your confidence with the bike and it’s controls during braking, acceleration and general riding
o Focus on correct riding position for road and off-road conditions
o Correct weight distribution
o Building your confidence with a motorcycle in and out of corners
o Braking techniques
o Rear wheel slides
o Line selection/ vision and reference points
o Slow speed maneuvering in tight single trail conditions
o Navigating tricky obstacles that you come across while adventure riding
o Building confidence going up and down steep hills
o Fitness/ fatigue/ hydration
o Correct riding gear selection
