Corser Concepts Motorcycle Schools are totally unique to any other Motorcycle rider training centre that you might have been to in the past or even considered.

 

Students that attend our NSW Motorbike training centre use one of our identically prepared small capacity 4 Stroke motorcycles to help teach the correct Brake,Throttle and clutch control skills needed to become a safer more confident rider. Our tracks are designed to scale so you can push the boundaries should you desire but without the super high speeds that larger capacity motorcycles would reach.

 

Our CONCEPT for this is why risk having a super high speed crash on an expensive motorcycle when you can learn to ride and all the skills nessessary to slide a bike at a much safer speed?

 

Types of Courses available:

 

Corser Concepts Motorcycle Riding School provides three different course options to choose:

 

 

Beginners/Novice Course:

 

Our beginner motorcycle course is designed for riders who have never operated a motorcycle or have very limited riding experience. The object of this course is to become familiar with the motorcycle and all its controls, different types of terrain, varying weather conditions, hazard awareness, all in a controlled environment.

Classroom discussions are kept to a minimum as we find that the best way for beginners to gain confidence and improve there riding skills is for more practical riding drills that are built into our Curriculum.

 

This learn to ride motorcycle lesson is full of everything a beginner needs to become familiar and comfortable on two wheels. The only prerequisite for this course is that all participants must be able to ride a two-wheeled bicycle and is able to balance without assistance.

 

The three key components of this course are:

 

  • Familiarize the student with the bike and its controls
  • Teach correct riding positioning/operating procedures
  • Build students confidence level with their own riding ability.

 

What we’ll cover:

 

  • Introduction to the bike and controls
  • Riding preparation: Preparing the motorcycle and appropriate riding gear selection
  • Mounting and dismounting, starting and stopping the engine
  • Riding posture, both seated and standing
  • Riding in a straight line and throttle control
  • Shifting gears and Braking
  • Turning and Cornering
  • Maneuvering through obstacles and riding up and down hills
  • How to be a safe, responsible rider

 

Non Racer/Intermediate Course:

 

This Motorcycle course is designed for more intermediate riders that have mastered all the basics and are ready to move on to the next level. This course is great for the riders that are street riders or for riders that used to ride but have been off a bike for some time and wish to refresh and improve their riding skills.

 

The three key components of this course are:

 

  • increase the student’s confidence with the bike and its controls
  • focus on correct riding positioning/operating procedures
  • build confidence level with a sliding motorcycle in and out of corners

 

What we’ll cover:

  • risk assessment of area/track
  • Bike Maintenance
  • Controls
  • Protective clothing
  • Slow riding
  • Posture and correct weight transfer/distribution
  • Steering
  • Throttle
  • Braking front / rear / both
  • Clutch
  • Cornering/ line selection
  • Braking points system
  • Rear / front wheel slides
  • Jumps / obstacles
  • Suspension

 

Racer/Advanced Course:

 

This Motocycle training course is designed for advanced Riders or Racers with many years of experience wishing to fine tune their race craft skills and make them faster and more confident in their ability.

 

The three key components of this course are the same as the Non Racer/Intermediate course but all at a much quicker aggressive pace:

 

The Students that attend this course will learn the skills required to master the art of “BACKING IT IN”.
